With only a few weeks to go until the new PS5 hits shelves, Sony has unveiled the new look UI for the console. Visually, the main menu design will be familiar to PS4 players, but the PS5 has a bigger emphasis on providing better UX options in-game.
The video gives us a glimpse of some of the features we already knew about, like State of Play. Starting a game from rest mode on the PS5 will allow users to jump in where they left off in a game. Thats right, no loading screens.

Much like Ghost of Tsushima, it appears that God of War will run at up to 60FPS on PS5 thanks to Boost Mode.
The news was confirmed in a Tweet by Sony Santa Monica. Alongside this, they also confirmed that your PS4 save would also work on PS5, which is a bit if a no-brainer.
It’s a bit of a weird one as unlike Ghost of Tsushima, God of War had a Performance Mode that was uncapped and did reach 60FPS occasionally, but as Digital Foundry notes, “it jumped around the mid to upper 40s for the majority…
