The NRL – National Rugby League Integrity Unit are investigating possible salary cap breaches within the Gold Coast Titans, that are said to be surrounding marquee recruit David Fifita and a possible pay-off made via a member of Fifitas family to the owner of the home he mistakenly trespassed in last December.

The Daily Telegraph are reporting that there will be a probe into the Titan$ salary cap conducted, after learning that the club may have paid possible compensation to Fifita for money lost from the pay-off during the Christmas break.
